What happens at a finishes session
- 01
Bring two photos
One of the floor and one of the wall you are matching, taken in daylight. A phone photo is enough.
- 02
Shortlist at the shelves
Elaine Koh lays tiles, laminates and worktop pieces beside your photos and notes what each costs to fit.
- 03
Take the list to your design review
Your shortlist goes to the studio with your brief. Nothing is sold or reserved at the material room.
Hard finishes only: tiles, laminates and worktops. Fabrics, door fronts and handles are at the Paya Lebar sample library.

Do I need an appointment?
Saturday is walk in. On Wednesday afternoons, book through a brief so Elaine has samples for your home laid out.
Can I take samples home?
Hard finishes stay here. Fabric, door fronts and handles can be borrowed from the Paya Lebar sample library for a week.
Is this where I meet my designer?
First meetings and design reviews happen at the Jalan Besar studio. The material room is for choosing finishes.
